Happy Holidays in our gardens

This season we're appreciating the spirit of giving. Here a few plants generously offering berries and blossoms despite the paucity of daylight and rain.

Pictured above are Myrtus Communis, Correa Dusky Bells, Rhamnus Californica Mound San Bruno, and a confused Eschscholzia California (California Poppy) who thinks it's spring. Even in the 'dead' of winter there are gifts to be found under your tree.
